WhatsApp is going to launch instant messaging program in the beginning of May 2025. It will no longer function for iPhones running previous iterations of iOS. Devices running iOS 12 or lower will no longer be able to use the app. Minimum requirement for user is IOS 15.1.

iPhone 5s, iPhone 6, and iPhone 6 Plus may affect by this change. Affected users have five months to get ready by updating their devices or backing up their WhatsApp data.
