HBL PSL X Matches: Official Schedule Revealed
HBL PSL X Match excitement continues to grow as the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) finalizes match officials for the 10th edition. The tournament kicks off on April 11, 2025.
PCB Selects Top Umpires for HBL PSL X Match
The PCB has named 13 umpires to oversee the first 30 matches. The list includes three ICC Elite Panel umpires—Ahsan Raza, Paul Reiffel, and Kumar Dharmasena. These experienced officials ensure international quality in every game.Moreover, the board added Aleem Dar, Asif Yaqoob, Faisal Khan Afridi, and Rashid Riaz Waqar from the PCB International Panel. Their inclusion strengthens the umpiring lineup.

Additionally, four domestic experts—Abdul Moqeet, Nasir Hussain, Tariq Rasheed, and Zulfiqar Jan—bring their local expertise to the field. They complete the umpiring panel for the match series.
Seven-Member Referee Panel Also Confirmed
PCB also selected seven match referees. Ranjan Madugalle from the ICC Elite Panel leads the group. Former Sri Lankan star Roshan Mahanama joins him to supervise the tournament.
Furthermore, PCB named local referees Ali Naqvi, Muhammad Javed Malik, Iftikhar Ahmed, Iqbal Sheikh, and Nadeem Arshad. These professionals will ensure discipline and fairness throughout the league.However, the board will announce officials for the last four matches later. These include the Qualifier, Eliminators, and the Grand Final.
Tournament Opens with HBL PSL X Match in Rawalpindi
The opening PSL X Match will feature Islamabad United against Lahore Qalandars. The match will take place at Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium.The tournament includes 34 matches played across four cities: Lahore, Rawalpindi, Karachi, and Multan. It will end with the final match on May 18.Lahore’s Gaddafi Stadium will host 13 matches, including both Eliminators and the Final. Rawalpindi will stage 11 matches, including the Qualifier.Meanwhile, Karachi and Multan will host five games each. PCB has also scheduled three double-headers, including one on Labour Day, May 1.
