High-Value Targets Neutralized with Precision
The Pakistan Air Force (PAF) destroyed Barhmos missile facilities responsible for killing civilians and targeted S-400 systems in Udhampur and Bhuj. Field supply depots and radar stations in Uri and Poonch were also neutralized. Pakistan also hit Indian command centers in KG Top and Nowshera, accused of planning attacks on civilians.
India Sought Ceasefire Following Retaliation
India sought ceasefire through international interlocutors only after Pakistan’s retributive strikes. Lt Gen Chaudhry clarified that Pakistan never requested a ceasefire. He stated that India’s request came immediately after the May 6–7 attacks, but Pakistan responded only after completing its planned military actions.
Proxy Elements and Cyber Operations
Pakistan also observed a sudden spike in Indian-sponsored terrorism in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan, confirming Indian involvement in destabilization efforts. Meanwhile, Pakistan launched effective cyber operations to cripple Indian command and control systems during the conflict.
Pakistan Maintains Moral High Ground
Lt Gen Chaudhry emphasized that Pakistan did not target civilians due to religious, cultural, and professional values. Even Indian statements confirmed only military targets were hit. He thanked the Pakistani nation, media, and political leadership for their unified support.
Air Force and Navy Demonstrated Readiness
The PAF’s operations were hailed as the largest single-day targeting of IAF airfields since 1971. The Navy tracked India’s aircraft carrier INS Vikrant and remained ready to neutralize any maritime threat. Pakistan’s maritime air arm was also on full alert.
Strategic Deterrence and Escalation Control
Lt Gen Chaudhry stated that despite escalation, Pakistan exercised restraint to avoid nuclear confrontation. He stressed that full-scale war between India and Pakistan would be catastrophic for over 1.6 billion people in the region.
