In Khalil-ur-Rehman Qamar honey trap case, Amina Urooj’s 3-day physical remand was approved by District Kachheri Lahore in high profile Case. During the hearing of FIR regarding police’s request Judicial Magistrate Nabila Amir sent other 11 to jail for identification parade.

Case Details

He was arrested by the police on July 22, with three others, including a woman for kidnapping, robbing and torturing him. These people deceived him by pretending to be interested in making a play with him. In his complaint lodged with the police station Qamar narrated how he was abducted.

On the fifteenth of July an unknown number called him, at around five pm. It was when she introduced herself as Amina Urooj and that she had been his fan and wanted to make drama with her that they agreed at one point so that he would have gone there at 4:40PM.

Once there, Amina left to answer a door knock, saying a delivery had arrived. Then seven gunmen came in and searched Qamar. They took away his wallet which contained Rs100000 together with the mobile phone of Ks3000000. The assailants then took him to an ATM, forced him to reveal his password at gunpoint, and withdrew Rs267000/ . They also demanded one corer rupee but he said no I don’t have this large amount

Ordeal and Escape

The abductors forced Qamar into the car where five armed men were waiting for them. They blindfolded and asked for money from him openly while driving on an abandoned road once stopped near the empty place they changed to another car after shifting Qamar.

During the drive; they snatched his watch worth Rs10000 from his wrist before tormenting him badly. To arrange money, Qamar called up a friend asking for Rs1 million without giving away more details about where he was. The friend could not provide the money; therefore, they kept on driving around before finally abandoning him somewhere in deserted place.

Legal Proceedings

The police argued before the court that Amina Urooj needs further investigation. They need to recover stolen property and case items, justifying the request for her physical remand. Other 11 accused will stay behind the bars for parade identification while investigation is going on.

This case has attracted significant attention due to a prominent individual being involved and the seriousness of the crime. The authorities are still working to resolve this matter and ensure justice is done for Khalil-ur-Rehman Qamar.
