The Ministry of Religious Affairs has negotiated a discounted airfare for 2025, which is a major step to lessen the financial burden of the Hajj. Flights for each pilgrim will now cost $800, $50 less than they did last year ($850). 35,000 pilgrims would benefit from this agreement with Pakistan International Airlines (PIA), while another 35,000 passengers will be served Hajj by Saudi Airlines.

This cut is a component of a larger effort to lower the cost of the Hajj, especially in light of growing international travel expenses. On December 6, the Hajj draw will prioritize first-time candidates for the first time.

Applications for the 2025 Government Hajj Scheme are officially being accepted through December 3 at 15 authorized banks. Candidates must submit Rs200,000 with their initial applications, and there is a quota of 89,605 pilgrims from Pakistan. The entire package, which comes with both long- and
short-duration choices, includes flights, lodging, food, and medical treatment.

Under the sponsorship program, 5,000 seats are set aside for overseas Pakistanis, who can sponsor the Hajj for $4,225 on a first-come, first-served basis. Additionally, sharing accommodations will help families have a more integrated experience.

The modifications made this year demonstrate the Ministry’s dedication to enhancing the Hajj experience and guaranteeing accessibility for all qualified pilgrims.
