Emirates Airline Wants to Establish Cargo Hub at Karachi Airport

Emirates Airline intends to establish a sizable cargo center at Karachi Airport to accommodate the growing demand for cargo services. Airline has asked for 90,000 square feet of space in the airport’s cargo terminal.

With over 27,000 tons transported in 2024, Emirates already controls a large portion of Karachi’s cargo market. Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) handle barely 2,000 tons during the same time period. With such a significant footprint, Emirates hopes to solidify its place in the area.
