Israel Attacks Yemen After Missile Strike Hits Near Tel Aviv Airport

This was the first time a missile from Yemen struck so close to Tel Aviv. An AFP reporter inside the airport described hearing a loud, powerful blast.

The Huthis claimed full responsibility. They said they launched a “hypersonic ballistic missile.” They also warned of future strikes on Israeli airports. Their aim, according to their statement, is to impose a complete air blockade on Israel. The strike left a large crater near a parking area and injured six civilians.
