Israel bombs Gaza journalist’s home in a recent airstrike, killing at least eight people and leaving several others injured, Al Jazeera reported. The attack took place in the as-Saftawi area of northern Gaza, directly targeting the home of journalist Osama al-Arbid.

Miraculously, al-Arbid survived the bombing. Local footage showed him being rescued from the ruins of his flattened home. The Israeli military has not released any official statement regarding the strike.

Civilian Death Toll Rises

Reports from Gaza reveal that at least 15 Palestinians have died in different Israeli attacks across the region since the early hours of the day. Medical sources confirmed that several others were also wounded in these ongoing operations.

In a separate event, Israel bombs Gaza journalist’s home, and around three more Palestinians lost their lives. This occurred when Israeli forces fired at people gathering at a southern Gaza aid center. The crowd had assembled at a food distribution site operated by the Gaza Humanitarian Foundation (GHF), an American-supported group under scrutiny due to alleged affiliations.

Thousands rushed the new aid center on Tuesday as Israel launched a revised aid system. This caused chaos, especially in the Rafah region. The strike followed only a few days after Israel partially lifted a strict aid blockade that began on March 2. This blockade led to extreme shortages of essential supplies like food and medicine.

The GHF reported that its operations resumed shortly after the tragic incident.

Israel Bombs Gaza Journalist’s Home Amidst Ongoing War Crimes

Since the end of the last ceasefire on March 18, the Gaza Health Ministry has reported over 3,785 deaths in the territory. The total death toll has now reached 53,939, mostly civilians, according to AFP sources.

Israeli military actions have displaced nearly 90% of Gaza’s two million people. The widespread attacks have caused a hunger emergency and destroyed much of the area’s infrastructure.

According to Al Jazeera, Israel’s continuous offensive since October 2023 has killed more than 61,000 Palestinians, with women and children making up the majority.

Last November, the International Criminal Court issued arrest warrants for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his former Defense Minister Yoav Gallant. They are accused of committing war crimes and crimes against humanity.

Furthermore, Israel is currently facing a genocide case at the International Court of Justice for its actions in Gaza.
