By expanding its fleet, Pakistan has been working hard in recent years to boost its naval warship capabilities. The PNS Babur and PNS Hunain are two contemporary naval warships. Intended to strengthen Pakistan’s operational and maritime security.

Babur and Hunain recently put into service as part of this endeavor. Which is designed to perform multiple tasks such as air defense, surface combat and anti-submarine operations.

Additionally, Naval Admiral Ashraf emphasized that the Pakistan Navy is concentrating on acquiring cutting-edge naval warship. The Navy has also stepped-up efforts to buy and develop unmanned technologies. Pakistan recently acquired the Chinese CH-4, a medium-altitude, long-endurance combat drone. Domestic efforts are underway to develop remotely operated and autonomous surface and underwater vehicles too.
